Removing 3pin connector on case fans

I can not find any info on how to remove the 3 pin connector from the case fan wire. Everytime I ask on forums, I always get responses that are of no help

How do you remove the 3 pinconnector from the wire?

There are three holes in the plastic(on the top in your pic) where you can see metal. Use a small item, like a razor blade, to press down the metal while pulling on the wire, it should come out of the connector.
