Linux PS2
Anyone know about the linux version of the Sony PS2? I don't know why the heck Sony is releasing this. Even the included harddrive won't be compatible with regular PS2 games according to Sony.

It is mainly for developing purposes. This will allow "hobbyists" to help develop future PS2 games. I think it is a good idea. It gives a PS2 user the chance to contribute to a new era in technology.
Video Games are so complex nowadays and developer kits for all the major consoles is a good idea. It gives someone the chance that they may have needed to create something unique. |
