BSOD stop errors

Hello, I keep getting stop errors on boot-up and they are almost never the same- 0x0000004e once, 0x00000050 another. I can get the machine to run eventually and it seems stable (I run Sonar 5, Sound Forge 8 and Vegas 6 most of the time) I have a P4 ASUS motherboard (P4R800-VM) 2.8 ghz 2gigs RAM, 2 Delta 44 PCI soundcards and a Firewire board. I just added a gig of PNY RAM (bringing my 1 gig to 2). ASUS tells me that the codes are all memory related, but I ran MemTest for 6+ hours with no errors reported. Does anyone have any ideas? Or need more data? I make money with this machine and would replace it in a minute if I had to, but that seems kind of extreme. I believe this is a somewhat easy fix, I just can't find it...

bad ram has passed memtest have you tried to take one stick of ram out to see if the solves your problem try one then the other.
