Installing Second Os linux in single hard disk
Hi All,
I am going to install second OS linux on the single hard disk. The single hard disk is abt 80GB which is partioned into 4 logical drives each 20 GB. ie., C:,E:,F:,G:,. I have converted F: and G: into linux ext2 by using parition magic tool. Then i tryed to reboot the machine from the cd i dont start from CD it went straight into windows. I am missing some of the steps to perform here. Kindly suggestion me to steps.. Thanks in advance With regards Prem |

You forgot to tell your machine to boot from the CD. See the BIOS setup.
Also, it is better to just delete the partitions and let the Linux installer to recreate them when you install. |

Are you sure your Linux CD is bootable?
Just delete the partitions. Every partition management program gives you the option. |
