hard drive 3.5 usb2.0 doesn't appear in My comp

I have a drive 250Mb 3.5'' maxtor in external enclosure USB 2.0, it switch on, and it comes in the list of safely remove hardware and also in device manager under disk drives but I can't see anything under my computer, what can I do to use the drive???

System specs
Click start, run , type [B]diskmgmt.msc[/B], locate your new drive then right click and partition it then right click and format it.

I assuming that that did help you to fix your problem? :-)
When ever you buy a new hard drive or a new external hard drive it must always be partitioned and formatted before it can be used. Bear this in mind and you should never have the same problem again.

I'm glad you got your problem fixed and I'm glad I was able to help. :-)
