No video when playing avi/mkv/ogm/mp4 on MCE
I want to play my video on my MCE but I'm getting no video, only sound. Playing DVD or tv on it work and the only thing that don't play is the video of either avi/mkv/ogm/mp4. Thanks for any help you can offer.

De you have any codecs installed at the moment?

I have CCCP installed. My MCE is running on my second monitor at fullscreen and if try and put the mce in window mode in my 2nd display, overlay mode takes overs and displays the video.

try to play the files in VLC Media player after installing the codecs that Rik mentioned.

All video works fine in VLC and MPC, the problem is that the video wont output in MCE when MCE is in fullscreen.
