08 elections

Just curious, if the presidential elections were tomorrow, who would you vote for?

I know it is early to ask this, but it will be interesting to see your opinions now, and a year from now during the general elections.

Obviously this is hypothetical, and of course George Bush can't run again, but i threw him in their just to see if anyone would choose him

I don't know much about any of them, and of ones that could run for president I've never heard them speak for more than a few seconds at a time on the news.

You forgot to put in Mitt Romney, the ex-Governor of Massachusetts who just filed paperwork for a presidential run. And for the vote, I don't know yet.

He hasn't officially announced yet...also how can you vote for someone when you don't know all of the people that are going to run? You don't know their views (for the most part) yet, either. Many people vote by the person's personality and by how they speak (with the exception of "Dublya"). You can't do that. This is one of the main reasons that the founders of the United States government founded the electoral college.

Half the stuff they speak of is just propaganda anyway. How much of the stuff they say is actually true? Probably about 50%. This is the point of this poll is to see who you would vote for without all the propaganda.

Still don't understand why you put George Bush on there... might as well put Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, too.
Worthless as it is... and not even interesting.

It's hypothetical It is "if he could run for a third term". Wow you are all making a big deal out a very small "issue".

I ask again, how can you vote when nobody has officially "run" yet? No points have been made people! Even if say, Mitt Romney, my governor until January were to run (he most likely is, he's filed papers), I wouldn't immediatly vote for him if I liked him as governor. No one knows the profile of every person running, and even it one does, there are still people who might run that we don't know about yet. For instance, John Kerry is thinking (I get all the news about him, he's my junior senator) about running.

Hillary Clinton. Definately. We all know she ran the country while Bill was president, and "he" did a fine job. Lowered the debt, kept foreign exchange at a good rate, and kept us out of war. So I think she'd do pretty well.

Plus, I'd love to see a woman president, and I can't stand Condoleeza, so... =)

This is not the real deal. I'm guessing you already knew that. This an internet forum, not you local poll station. One word

HYPOTHETICAL

You are all over analyzing this. (well some at least)

cfitzarl, don't get me wrong, i understand what you are saying, but this is the point of the poll. If i wanted to do the poll after the general elections next year, i would have done it then. I was just curious what peoples opinion was in general, before all the propaganda, and before all the commercials spiting each other about irrelevant issues. Please, if you have a problem, just simply don't take part.

I realize that this thread is hypothetical, but I had to say something about this. Please give to me, pure evidence that clearly identifies Hillary Clinton telling William how to run this country. Please do not make facts about opinions.
