PC to Mac-Games
Since I dont know much about Apple computers, I'm going to ask you guys this question. Simply, my friend has a Mac and he wants to know if you can install and run a PC version of the Sims 2 on a Mac. Is this possible without doing the whole, Boot Camp, XP on the Apple computer process? If you have any suggestions or answers, please feel free to comment

Maybe he could do it with Parallels or he would have to get a copy of the Mac version of the game. I'm not sure if The Sims 2 can run on Wine or whether Wine even works on Mac OS X.

No. While Parallels can run Windows applications, it doesn't have 3D hardware acceleration required for most games. Run the OS X native Sims 2 version instead.

Even if you could run the game on an emulation the performance would suffer.
