Apparently it only works for linux at the moment.

Oh, I guess it does. I'm dual-booting Fedora core 6 and Xp pro, so not a problem

sounds like a good project, but I'd be leary. It could also be used for very nefarious purposes the way it is designed and advertised. You're essentially allowing others to use your computer instead of processing unused computer cycles on your system and uploading them to a central server - like BOINC.

I suppose projects like BOINC could also be used for nefarious purposes as well, but word would get around fast.
