Best motherboard monitor?

yea i would like to know what would be a good motherboard monitoring program to check my temps and speeds of my fans etc.. i tried pc alert4 and well it was not reading properally. cuz it was saying m cpu was at an abnormal temp of 255C and my fan was running at only 831 RPM, now yes the fan was only running about 831 Rpm part was true when i check in bios, becuase the fan i have has SMART FAN< and when enables the fan will kick up to max rpm when the cpu reaches over 70C but it was only at 43C.... and it was saing 255... so i took off the smart fan and now my fan is running at 3800 Rpm yet it still says 831.... so what is a good monitor?

Try using the Speedfan programme from HERE. See how you get on with that.
