Well, whenever I try to launch my new-found Allied Assault, it crashes on a grey lock-up screen with a dreaded "Send Error Report" window, then the game exits to the desktop. My sys-specs are FAR higher than the game needs to play (I can play Oblivion with all settings maxed), so why does this happen? Apparently it's something to do with "some trouble communicating with the sound card in the computer". Here's the URL to the EA support site that I used to help me:

So I did what the page said but it didn't solve the problem. Do any of you fine fellows (and fellowesses?) know anything that could help me?
