Ubuntu on Windows XP using VMWare
Hi everyone
I am running a 2 year old DELL Inspiron 6000 with XP Pro SP2. I wanted to use some sort of virtualization to setup Ubuntu 6.10 on my laptop, and a couple of people on other TechSpot forums suggested VMWare. How can I go about setting up VMWare (Server?, Workstation?, Player?) and loading Ubuntu (or another Linux distro) in the VM? A detailed walkthrough would be great, since this is my primary computer and I won't take any chances unless I can follow some expert advice. |
