Computer sound

the demanding nature of many games causes various system components, such as the processor, to run hotter than they would under normal circumstances. the increased noise you hear is probably the CPU fan increasing its speed automatically to keep the processor within operating temperature. this is normal and should only be a concern when the fan's sound becomes distinctly different (makes a harsh buzzing or grinding sound). can you describe the sound?

how old the game is doesn't matter - it simply depends on CPU load.
