flashing my bios
how do i flash my bios? i've got a kt4-ultra ami bios i would like to flash it, but not with a floppy i've seen it get done by just doing a setup and rebooting can i do that 2?

You can go to your motherboard manufacturer's site and see if they offer a utility to update the BIOS in Windows.
Personally, I still prefer the floppy method. |

MSI has a utility to flash it VIA Windows. Just be sure that your computer is stable, last thing you want is for WINDOWS to crash inthe middle of a BIOS flash.
I've done it several tims when I had my MSI mobo, always worked great. Very easy..... |

i cant select the option..... only the floppy does anyone have an idea to unlock it?

i did that but the "flash in windows mode" was disabled but i put a new floppy drive in and it was fine
|
