inexperienced newbie :) g'day y'all

Hi there...
I'm new here, obviously... I havn't built a system yet but I want to! And this looks like a good place to get advice when I do, so I thought I would join and say hi!
My experience is limited... I've added some components to my pc.... Replaced optical drives, added memory, hdd, graphics card (which i've had some trouble with and may ask for advice about that soon ) Everything I know is self taught through internet and magazines, so theres some huge gaps in my knowledge!

For starters... if anyone can point me towards threads/websites that would suit my level of experience and help me figure out which components are compatible/not compatible for my future attempts at building a system, that would be great!

Well, I'm going to go browse a bit seeya!

oh by the way, I am in australia, anyone know any good sellers of hardware I should look up?
