Experienced newbie

Hello everyone.

I have been a computer nerd for about 15 years now. I started out with a cool system. It had a 486DX33 processor, 4mb ram, 260mb HD no soundcard or CDRom.

Since then, I have spent many happy and frustrating hours with my trusted "trial and error" method of learning. Now, I am at the stage where I am VERY computer literate, and enjoy solving other peoples problems. So much so, that I can earn myself a little pocket money by carrying out repairs at prices that would make those folks at Geek Squad want to cry.

I look forward to dishing out some free advice to other newbies, as well as seasoned techhies who run into difficulties.

Neil
