Win 2000 BSOD help
Hi I am new to this forum. I am using Win 2000 Pro. SP4.

I am getting a BSOD. THe screen says

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
( many zeros then 7F, many zeros then D, many zeros, many zeros, many zeros)

Can anyone help please?

System specs
Bugcheck 7F, {D, 0, 0, 0} is usually related to faulty hardware. Test your RAM with Memtest.

My machine has four drives and each one has Win2000 installed. The rest are working fine. Only C drive is giving the BSOD, can it still be a hardware problem?

That dump's blaming arcm_x86.sys, which looks to be an Areca SATA PCI RAID Card Driver. See if there's an update available.

Still BSOD
Hi,
I replaced that drive (with great difficulty because the comp. was restarting every 5 min even in Safe Mode). The BSOD is still there and now the dmp file is different. I have attached it.
