Hello. I hope someone can help me out. Recently I have been getting a blue screen that reads: A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:c17AA9E3 in VXD ASP4WAVE (01) + 00014553. I assume it is a sound card issue. I have a Diamond Sonic Impact S90 PCI Audio Card. I tried several sites to find the driver, but they all led my nowhere. I think the company may have went under. If anyone has any suggestions or information I would really appreciate it.

Well A3D went bankrupt & got bought off by Creative ( How convenient since Creative "helped" them go bankrupt ).

Thanks, I download the new driver but I still getting that annoying blue screen.

Maybe it could help if we knew a little bit more about your hardware ( CPU, mainboard, ram, etc ) & software ( Which OS, which version of DX, which VGA drivers, etc ) setup.

It might not bet a sound card issue.

Windows 98
Pentium 2
128 RAM
Sonic Impact S90 Sound Card
DirectX 9
Rage LT Pro AGP 2X

I get exactly the same problem blue screen error (on certain games only - mostly older titles). I used tech support for my new
ATI 9000 and they were unable to help beyond recommending
I download new ASP drivers and Sound Card drivers. Unfortunately, I cannot find a valid Diamond Sonic Impact S90 driver anywhere on the net. I am getting very frustrated as I am sure you are. Please let me know if you have any success. FYI, I am running a PIII 500MHz Compaq 5697. Sound familiar? Bloody Compaq........

p.s. Don't bother using Compaq's so called "support".
