Beryl, ATi Catalyst stopped working after system updates

Using Fedora Core 6, and I had beryl effects working properly and the ATI catalyst control center was functioning properly as well.

However, I allowed the system to update itself (231 updates or so) and afterwards, ATI CC fails to even load, Beryl loads but the effects are no longer working. I'm still new to Linux so troubleshooting is a huge pain so far...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You probably updated your kernel and you have to reinstall/recompile the ATI drivers.

Actually... I have figured out it had nothing to do with the updates..

When I initially installed the ATI drivers, for some reason, ATI CC hadn't been fully installed yet, so when I rebooted it completed the installation and caused Beryl to stop working.

Now I just need to figure out how to uninstall the ATI CC (I tried looking on the ATI website but it only tells me how to uninstall earlier versions that used the Fire-GL interface). Thanks again.
