not able to load Mandrake 10.0 ?
i have already installed XP & Windows 2003 server on my m/c but when im going to install mandrake linux its not able to find the CD rom device & halts there ...?
how to solve and proceed ? pls advice ..thnks in Advance |

Mandrake 10 is an ancient version! Unlike Windows, where a 5-year-old OS is nothing to complain about, you should always install the latest version of your Linux distro (unless you have some really special reason not to).
Most likely this old thing plain doesn't support your hardware. The latest free OS in the Mandrake/Mandriva line is Mandriva Free 2007. Download and install that. |
