Help with my new mobile hard disk!
Hi people I have a simple problem but cannot resolve by myself about this new bought 2.5" external enclosure laptop hard disk 80gb seagate 5400 rpm to be put on a toshiba laptop (model: Tecra). The problem is here when I inserted the 2.0 usb to the laptop, the hard disk icon won't appear in the my computer window, but in device manager there's the new inserted hard disk. the question is What are the things I need to do to appear the hard disk icon in my computer window?. So that I can format it and ready to use.
Thanks for the help.. Viva techspot!!:hotbounce |

Right klick on My Computer, click manage. Go to disk management and format the disk from there by right clicking on it. Make sure you format the right disk!

when you go to disk managment, you may need to refresh the drive in order for it to appear. Then reformat it from there.
