I'm getting my ps3 soon and would like to have it hooked up to my monitor and computer speakers, i was just wondering what cables i will need to this,

i have a Dell 17 inch 1704FPT
and
Creative I-trigue 3400's

You should need a dvi to hdmi cable to get video signal.
I'm using this cable with my ps3.

Note, if your dvi port doesn't support hdcp, then you might have issues playing back blu-ray discs(they might be limited resolution, or not work at all).

For audio with those speakers, I'm not sure, but I think if you could find a female dual rca(stereo) to female 3.5mm jack adapter, you could probably convert the rca audio outputs to connect to your speakers.
