Loss of video signal with Asus P55800-VM Motherboard

Hello everone; I have a homemade unit with an Asus P55800-VM M-board. Upon trying to boot up one evening there just was just no video signal to the monitor. Kind of like the dead horse in the barn,"It never did that before." It had an intermitten at times when I had it disconnected & reconnected it, but it always rectified itself before. I was told last week about momentarily changing the jumper on the board then changing it back. Problem is, I don't know wich jumper to adjust. Can anyone advise one way or the other? kuuipo0620@ sbcglobal.net

System specs
They are talking about the CMOS jumper. It is located near the silver button battery on the motherboard. Move it to the "clear" position for a minute or so with the power off and the power plug disconnected. Move the jumper back to it's original position. Boot the computer...
