Need Help with compaq presario 1800T
I bought this compaq presario 1800T from a garage sale and when I first turned it on it took at least 30min. for it to completely boot up and run fine. Cna some tell what to do for it to run faster. Also it has no memory chip and it runs on xp and was designed for ME or 2000.
Im also trying to get internet on it. Please Help!

how can it run with no memory? You will at least 1 gb of ram to run XP well. 512mb at the minimum to be acceptable.
Read the upgrading/troubleshooting ram guide in the guides forum before installing ram. read the speeding up computers/system guide in the guides forum to see how to speed up your system. It is old, so bear in mind it really is only good for office work. It has a built in telephone modem port and a LAN port for internet.
