Circuit City: Acer Aspire 5100-3357 Laptop ($569 after rebate)
Pretty good deal for what you get:
Acer Aspire 5100-3357: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Acer-...oductDetail.do Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit) AMD Turion 64 MK-36 2.0 Ghz (512 KB L2 Cache) 1 GB Memory (256 MB Shared at Default; can be turned down to 32 MB) Ati Xpress 1100 (256 MB Dedicated; total 512 MB) 120 GB HDD SATA Built-in Wireless (B+G) 15.4" Widescreen display (1280 x 800) Super Multi Dual Layer Drive (Burns CDs, DVDs, DL DVDs, and DVD-RAM) Media Card Reader 4 USB Ports It's $669 before rebate and $569 after rebate. I bought one for myself and I love it. Graphics work fine with Aero, though I recommend upgrading the RAM to 2 GB. |

Nice find. Even those graphics aren't the best I bet you could probably play any game you want on it.

The price is now back at $649 ($20 cheaper still than the original price w/o rebates). Though, at that price it is still a great buy.

I'm thinking about buying this laptop. Does anyone know about its performance?
Oh yeah and I don't care if I play games on low settings with a 640 x 480 resolution. |
