Oblivion on Vista
Yo. I just installed Oblivion on my new Vista home premium and now its not working. It shows the Bethesda logo and crashes .It did before on XP. My friend who also have vista runs Oblivion perfect. I also have knights of the nine and shivering isle.
anyone know what the problem could be? i tried doing the compatible with XP thing and still nothing

That should be good enuf as specs, could be the disc didnt install the game correctly or Vista is a pile of crap
|

you should be ablel to run the game. You might want to try a reinstall, make sure nothing is running while you're doing it

reinstall vga driver and directx, chek also for other updates

look to see if there's an updated patch on the game's website.. ask your friend if they did anything special to how they installed it..
