Non tech problem...really need some help

I purchased an open box tv on ebay. The tv has a stand which when when inserted into the base of the tv has 4 screws that hold it in place. The stand is separate from the tv but the 4 screws have been screwed into the back of the tv (in their allotted holes) but they will not come out so the stand can be put in place. They happily spin in the holes and will not come out. All 4 are in place and all 4 are doing the same thing. There must be some way to get them out but I don't know what it is. Can anyone help?

The screw-brackets are striped out, if they dont screw out, use pliers to pull them out, and if possible, use bigger screws next time.

Yes, they are most likely stripped, or they are in the wrong location.

First off, you need to make up your mind whether the stand attaches to the base or the back.

Secondly, it is possible that the screws went into fastener holes that WERE molded into the tv case and have broken free. In that situation, pulling at them with pliers is gonna break up your case.

I suggest you look for a similar tv at a shop and go have a first hand look.
