My DVD RAM is not reading cds properly

Hi,

I bought a new LG DVD RAM [GSA-H44N].
After 3 days of using it, it's now able to read DVDs but not the CDs.
It's a new one.
I even updated the driver.
some times, especially after i reboot, it opens the cd once or twice but fails to read the the contents of the cd.
Kindly help me to fix this

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Since the drive is new and still under warranty, I suggest having it replaced. It sounds like it`s faulty to me.

Regards Howard

If you have XP, the drivers are in XP. Nothing specific to do but hook it up and there ya go!
