Global music sales drop 10%
Just a couple of days ago we reported that P2P file sharing traffic from Kazaa (by far the most popular) had dropped some 41% over the last three months. Isn't it ironic then that the big music firms insist on blaming P2P for 'poor' sales?
Music sales continue to drop and big firms have no intention on blaming themselves for keeping prices high or for the lack of quality in so many pop group albums. |

I wonder what the industry is going to come up with next. Recycling the same bands and songs with new names attached to them won’t do the trick forever. Eventually, after the nth boy group or the nth teenage pop singer, people will realize that.

I am convinced the music industry has a very large factory of latex molds they use to create new generations of pop-stars.
