Gigabyte unveils GeForceFX videocards
Gigabyte today announced a new graphics card line up based on GeForce FX5950 and GeForce FX5700 chips, however what is more important about the announcement is that Gigabyte used to be an ATI card partner only but now has shifted its focus to produce both NVIDIA and ATI based boards.
A trend that had to be imposed by manufacturing giant ASUS, from now on it's more than likely manufacturers won't be limited to one or two supply partners, XGI will be added into the equation from what we've heard... competition is good. |
