Here, here, well reasoned....!

I say yes, because someone famous is bound to be killed, and "Access Hollywood" has correspondents everywhere.

By way of a not very difficult, perhaps stupid question on the part someone living in the colonies, is the term "b*****x" actually considered profane enough to be edited by the website? I recognize it as a British slang term, and over here it's usually replaced by dropping the "F" bomb. Or is that the "H" bomb?

I'm usually a mixture so I'll have to say that the glass is just perfect the way it is .

B****x is unacceptable, whereas bo**ox is perfectly clear as a vernacular expression and spelling of the spelling of the contents of the scrote - which as you will know if you follow the words of Billy Connolly is what God made with all the spare outer elbow covers he had left over when doing the creation bit.
Equally obscure is the word "bugger" - in, for example, Norfolk (England) this is a perfectly permissable word. Use it in the snootier parts of London at it will be frowned upon. Ditto "prognosticator" - but thats because the buggers in London don't understand the meaning of the word.
Are we a bit off thread here?

The mouth has its uses, but not the vocal chords.

Existentialism......

If a tree falls in the forest, would that make the God of Mana angry also?

On a more serious note, it seems really arrogant to expect a website full of intelligent people to go on ad infinitum arguing a question that has both no real answer and a different answer for every person. I'm sure you think that's terribly clever. Then when people get sick of it and move on, it's time to pout. Grow up, not everybody is going to say "how high", every time you deem it fit to say "jump". Does that give a more direct answer to the "way off topic" question?

Oh dear, I'm no fun at all am I?

BTW, I find it enormously satisfying to walk into church and thumb my nose at the altar. Is the communion wine glass half full or half empty? Nobody in their right mind gives a rats' a**.

But if the tree falls on ME then i would be pissed. This thread HAS a real answer but it may be of a different reasoning and if you are a optomist or pestimist.
(IDk spelling)
This question is a hypothetical question, a cup of wine or what ever it just must have 1/2 its CONTENTS.

Optimist........Pessimist.....

What exactly would you gain if every member in this forum decided to answer your question without any deviation? Would you sit around and ponder each and every respondents answer? Would it enrich your life to know? If so, how so?

Your most difficult question known to man, is simply something to spark debate. Which you seem to want to control. Hey, maybe kick back and watch the rest of us fools duke it out, (mentally of course).

Why would you want to know if someone is an optimist or a pessimist, especially in light of the fact you can't even spell it?

Incidentally, the spelling in the title is correct.

What I thought, and what I continue to think is that the continued participation of our members in this thread, however off topic it may get, is emblematic of a desire to relate to each other in a friendly and thoughtful manner. To which this end thread has been a success.

But, to insist on proceeding in a "just answer the question", everybody's a hostile witness manner, is IMHO the action of a juvenile control freak.

I have enjoyed this thread enormously as an opportunity to trade wit and wisdom with my fellow Techspotters, but not as an forced interrogation.

The glass is half full. It's the logical response.
Not becasue you are greedy or optimistic ... it makes sense.

Glass is filled with water .. not empty of or missing water ...
Filling ... until full.

Another try :

If you're filling a glass, then when the liquid level reaches the midway point, the glass is half full.

If you're emptying a glass, then when the liquid level reaches the midway point, the glass is half empty.

In school we were told that people with writing slanting upwards, were positive minded, and vice versa. Well, we all started the upward slant.

I guess it all depends on whether you are filling up the glass or drinking/pouring it out.

I would have thought the whole chicken and the egg question was the most difficult question ...
