Reinstalling WMI in Vista
Anyone know how this is done is Vista
There's a bunch of commands in XP but I haven't found a way to do it in Vista. I've tried a variety of things like sfc and deleting the stuff in the wbem folder. I ran the WMI diagnosis tool and it told me to reinstall WMI. Also after running sfc it encountered corrputed files that couldn't be fixed. These turned out to be files in the wbem folder. this command which is supposed to reinstall it doesn't work on my computer rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection WBEM 132 %windir%\inf\wbemoc.inf Last edited by nrhk; 08-30-2007 at 12:17 PM.. |
