Do you think that the practice of Yoga is anti-Christian ?

Quote:
"Christians shouldn’t do yoga as a meditative technique. The only way of getting in touch with something real is by faith in God through Jesus Christ"

Yoga has nothing to do with religion. It is a means of keeping mentally & physically fit.

Yogic exercises are aften used for therapy, and many martial arts use them to tone the body.

Nope - but in the context of teaching children about religion there is a possibility that it might muddy the waters for them.
Shame that the first time in years that the Church of England stuck it's head over the parapet it made a nonsense of it.

Religion threads seldom go well here. I'm going to delete this when that happens.

Interesting point - this is not perhaps a religious issue, more about the behaviour of the CofE.
Seeing as nobody else wants to make contentious comment - kill the thread.
