Temperature Question

I was wondering if the motherboard temperature sensors or a temperature controller give more precise readings?

the best way to tell is to chk your temps in bios then compare at idle through your os with a program.

Everest and PC Wizard are 2 free programs that give you your temps in real time.

Most newer processors have temp sensors built into them and are very reliable. This little free program is built specifically to access the temp sensors in your processor if you have them.

Core temp is a very good program, only problem is that it doesnt work in x64 vista because microsoft is a ***** and wants them to pay $400 a year for some certificate which will allow it to work. There are ways around it but they are annoying (disable signature checking thing while booting).
