LINUX VPN need help selecting solution.

Hello everyone!

My client needs a very cost-effective VPN solution to tie in his current office of 5 people with 2 other offices of 3 people each, as well as the people's homes. They are all running a client server application, that runs on their currrent server (Windows XP). I would like to know if a FreeBSD system with some VPN software would be a viable solution in this situation. If it is could someone please point me in the right direction in terms of what hardware / software would be necessary to facilitate this

Thank You

You are probably thinking about OpenVPN or TINC. Virtually any new computer will be able to run the required software unless you want crazy speeds
