SM Bus controller driver not installing
hey
My usb ports used to work just fine till a few backs. then they suddenly stopped working. when i uninstall the driver and try to re install it the error it gives is "the driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. this may be because the inf was written for windows 95 or later." my operating system is xp with service pack 2. i tried reinstalling the drivers using the intel configuration utility but it still gives the same error. some of the usb devices that i used before the problem started occurring still work such as my mouse and mobile charger please help !!

Hey yourself!
You will need the driver CD that was supplied with the motherboard for this machine.
