Just starting yesterday my computer is continually at 100% cpu usage. I have 768mb of ram, and it is not be completed used by computer so its not due to lack of ram. The computer is running very slow after this problem started. How can i possibly fix this?

Look on your task managers process tab and see what process is taking the most cpu cycles. Let me know what you find.

Go and read this thread HERE and post a HJT log as an attachment into this thread.

its tvtsched.exe taking most memory

tvtsched.exe is taking radically changing amounts of cpu use up to 90%, but it is constantly changing

tvtsched.exe is a process associated with IBM ThinkVantage Scheduler from IBM.

This is a known issue.

Give this a try and let me know if it helps.

Click start/run and type services.msc into the run box and press the enter key.

When the window appears, maximise it. Double click on the following services(if there) and select stop if they are running. Set the startup type to disabled. Click apply/ok for each service you disable.

TVT Scheduler

Close the services window.

Reboot your computer.
