drivers

I went across the street to fix my neighbors pc, put 2000pro in it as an upgrade from win 98 so he wouldn't lose his stuff. drivers for sound cant be found in C: in win 98 dir or 2000. Don't know mb manufacturer but here is what I know sis5600 440bx chipset intel celeron 300 mgh processer acer pc. I'm guessing it's a pc chips or ecs by tan color but can find no markings. The bios are american megatrend.

Hi

When you start your machine check the bottom right of the text that is displayed, this usually contains mobo type. Then do a search on google for sis 5600 sound drivers. I got quite a few hits from this, one of them should help you.

Good Luck
