Random blue screen error , event logger info
righteo, my names don im from australia.
i dont know much about pcs but i know a few tricks, like the event logger and stuff; anyways just randomly out of the blue, the pc would restart. its been doing this maybe a week now? i cleaned out the dust and crap about 2 weeks ago due to poor performance. im not sure if its over heating, but when pc reboots the temperature is at like 53degrees celsius (at least thats what im reading from nvidia control panel, i bet thats only for video card tho :P) anyways ive read up on the following error report ill post, i suspect its a driver issue , and im posting here to ask if the screenshot im about to show records the fault. (two entries of AMD im using AMD x2 dual core 6000+ processor, so not sure if there should be two in regards to it being dual core, or just one) the error report is as follows Event Type: Error Event Source: System Error Event Category: (102) Event ID: 1003 Date: 23/12/2007 Time: 1:54:02 AM User: N/A Computer: HOME-F985A80F7C Description: Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 ba900dc2. It appears you are infected with a variant of the Sdbot virus.
The Sdbot virus creates a hidden process. This process closes programs that system administrators use for diagnostic and configuration purposes. The process may also prevent these programs from running. I would recommend first going HERE for help on deciding what you want to do If you decide you want to clean your system go HERE Follow instructions exactly and post your logs in the security section of the forum which is located HERE |
