DAY 2 of LINUX NITE MARE!
"8th attempt" I installed XP on a 20 gig partition. Ok done. Now I installed Linux Red Hat 9 on a seperate partition (including a /boot, /swap, /root partition) . Guess what happened after the Install??? Both OS wiped out of the MBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has gone far enough!! I want XP and Linux to work! I used the Lilo Boot Loader by the way. I wrote the boot loader to the MBR. I followed the instructions and still no work. Can anyone help me before my friends get pissed that i cant get a dedicated server running for them? Please dont hav me read old "read posts" either,,,ive already read them.
