Sticky in mobile computing gone?

I got a reply notice for a sticky which was created on 8th of Jan or something but it is not there anymore?
It was "dell bios password removal Jan 2008" in Mobile Computing forums.

thanks, mscrx

Yes I got that too, and link gone.

I believe it has been merged into the other Dell links
Seems to be a lot of these (Dell password retrieval posts)
So I just thought that someone must be cleaning them up.

Instead of saying refer to this post, all the time.

I was just wondering because there was no nothing said about it.
and the number of post reduced by the number of posts I did in this thread.
not a big deal for me but maybe for the guys who were looking for help there...

Actually I'd have to agree with you there, it would be nice to be told

But then again posts get closed, and moved about here, I've noticed.
I still think the original one who posts should have this right, well to say solved, and left open until it is solved (unless it's breaking TOC - whereas the admins can come in)

I suppose it's run by people, not robots, so each person does what he or she thinks is right.

This actually gives me and you a little leaveway as well, which is good. But no it's not perfect, but livable I suppose.

As long as we don't do anything wrong to be banned, then I'm happy.

I thought it was some merge thingy or somebody restored something from a time this thread was not created. the only "bad" thing about it is that there are alot of new posts/threads which should be made in this one thread...
maybe you find something about it

Wow Julio is on it.

I wonder how (or who!) the post was removed in the first place.

Not another ban comming I hope!
