ATI Radeon 3870, AA + Context Menus
Hi,
I have been having a really annoying problem with my new HIS ATI Radeon 3870. If I use either Temporal anti-aliasing, Narrow-tent filter or Edge Detect filter, and then start a windowed D3D application (namely Eve Online), opening the start menu, right clicking in Windows, tooltips (yellow text boxes when you hover over something) or any context menu-y things, slow the refresh rate of the graphics card (2D, 3D, everything...) slows to about 1 frame per second. I'd really, really appreciate ideas/suggestions ![]() Thanks EDIT: Tried older and newest Catalyst drivers. |

my only suggestion is that your games settings and Catalyst are conflicting
try using catalyst to change the in game settings to "use the game's settings" if that doesnt work sell the ATI and buy a nvidia |
