Where?! Where are these drivers?!
So, I reformatted my PC, just like I've done many times before. Reinstalled the OS, everything went fine. Began installing the drivers, from the same source I downloaded them before, and they were installing fine, until I came across three unrecognizable devices in my device manager. My computer is an Acer Aspire 3680, and these are the three devices that I have searched for hours for the drivers on the internet:
Ethernet Controller Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_001C&SUBSYS_04281468&REV_01 PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_001C&SUBSYS_04281468 PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_001C&CC_020000 PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_001C&CC_0200 Mass Storage Controller Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_803B&SUBSYS_01101025&REV_00 PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_803B&SUBSYS_01101025 PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_803B&CC_018000 PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_803B&CC_0180 Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus Hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_11C1&DEV_1040&SUBSYS_10250110&REV_1002 HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_11C1&DEV_1040&SUBSYS_10250110 I have absolutely no idea where to find these drivers. I have tried all of the different drivers from the Acer website, bot USA and European. I have used the USA site before to download the drivers, but for some reason it isn't working anymore. Am I doing something wrong to where these drivers won't work? I am going crazy here, I hope someone can shed some light on this for me. Thanks, Adam |

So what exactly happened when you visited the Acer websites?
Go to http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers...k/as_3680.html and download+install the Atheros wireless (abg), card reader and the modem drivers. |

Ok, I don't understand. I downloaded every driver from the Acer Euro site earlier and none of them worked, but these I didn't downloaded.
I wonder if I just had the wrong link or something? Either way, I got them working. Thanks! |
