Hello!

Hello all,

I am from Nashville, TN, am new to online forums, with exception to World of Warcraft forums, of which I am an avid enthusiast. Not much else to say, except I am limited in my computer knowledge, but am aspiring to become an expert someday. Any points in the right directions for books/online resources for learning would be MOST appreciated!

Thanks,
James

I have said it in other posts, but 'google' it. Use as much detail in the query and you will likely find what you are looking for. If the query brings you in the wrong direction (you will know by first few listings) just reword. That is how I do 95% of my research for anything.
You are on the other great resource. This forum has a lot of very smart people that seem to want to help.
Look forward to future posting

Here is a little info that I could find for you. What type of computer is it or did you build it. A lot of this stuff is available at the computer manufacturer (HP, Toshiba, etc...)

Motherboard Name Asus A7V8X-X info. Latest updates.

It looks like your BIOS is old. This can be updated from the BIOS utility. There is an update button. Makes it easier than burning a cd to flash. You can also download the manuals, and misc info available here.

AMD XP info, software, drivers updates, etc…

hope this helps some.
