Simple $100+ desktop
i think it is a pretty good deal for a desktop to use for web browsing, word processing and internet surfing. do you agree or disagree, and why?

Nope. If it were coming with Windows 2000, it'd be okay, but 256MB of RAM with XP is a no-go. It'll be irritatingly slow with anything. At least 512MB would be recommended.

would it be worth it to get the 130$ version with the 512 mb ram, doubled hd and faster cpu then?

Yes. If you can afford it,I recommend paying an extra $30 and upping the RAM to 1GB. But even otherwise, you'll be fine.

hmm, doing all that would bring it pretty close to the 200$ mark.. so i might as well get the $199 version. but then, it wouldnt really be a budget pc lol
anyways, thanks for your help rage |
