There's a new smartphone brand in town and it's brought two devices to the battlefield. Privately-held UK-based Wileyfox on Tuesday revealed the Storm and Swift, both of which will arrive pre-loaded with Cyanogen OS 12.1

The Wileyfox Storm features a 5.5-inch full HD display that is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 615 chip alongside 3GB of RAM. Around back is a 20-megapixel camera opposite of an 8-megapixel unit up front as well as 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and 32GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card.

The Swift, meanwhile, packs a slightly smaller 5-inch HD display. Under the hood is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 2GB of RAM on tap. A 13-megapixel camera graces the back of the handset while a 5-megapixel camera up front handles video calls and selfies. It, too, features 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE support but comes with half the local storage at 16GB (also expandable).

Both smartphones are powered by a 2,500mAh battery but curiously enough, they don't ship with a charger in the box.

The Wileyfox Storm is priced at £199 (roughly $315) and will be available sometime in October while the £129 (about $204) Swift launches a month earlier in September. Both devices will be sold exclusively online in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. No word yet on when or if they'll be sold in other regions.
