Benchmarks: Real-World Applications
Despite its impressive file copy performance, the Intel SSD 750 Series 1.2TB drive isn't able to deliver the fastest game installation time, as it was 1 second slower than the Plextor M6e 256GB and just 1 second faster than the 850 Pro 512GB. Without the NVMe driver installed the SSD 750 took 96 seconds and it was slower than most of the 2.5" 'performance' SSDs.
Scanning Windows' System32 folder using MSE wasn't particularly fast with the Intel SSD 750 Series 1.2TB, as it was 2 seconds slower than the 850 Pro and 7 seconds slower than the Plextor M6e. Moreover, the drive's performance went unchanged with the NVMe driver installed.
