1st Post: Can't Update AVG Anti-Spyware

Hi everyone.

Have read other threads about not being able to update. I get the following message:

"Sorry server not ready to serve. Please try again later"

Is this an AVG problem or a problem with my system?

Thank You in advance.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem with the same message?

Anyone willing to review my HJT log?

Yes, I did. Seemed to work but status was still showing no update done.

But anyway, I finally managed to connect to the server and status is showing as updated. Must have been a legitimate server problem.

That is a common occurance and you just need to be patient.

Do you have the latest version of AVG? The older version is no longer supported.

ingegnere, is talking about the AVG Antispyware programme and not the free AVG antivirus programme.
