2.5" Drive bootable on all laptops?

I have recently been offered an exorborent amount of money to retrieve files from a laptop that will not stay on past bios. It is a powersource problem and not a corrupted file. (had a dealing with it through inspiron) My question is will this toshiba 2.5" drive be connectable to any laptop? If I can retrieve the files by simply using another laptop or do I need to buy a 2.5" to ATA adapter. I have all the recovery software if there is a bad sector ect.

Yes, it will work in any laptop if the size is supported. Windows won't boot of course since the hardware is different.
