thanks for helping with the globe-finder-- it worked ! i have another problem though, and this one occured ever since i downloaded some file called cd_clint.dll.

everytime i reboot my computer this message shows up:

error loading 2ndsrch.dll
the system cannot find the file specified.

if you can, please help me resolve this problem. many thanks !

It is used with adware programs and belongs to http://www.2nd-thought.com

The first file cd_clint.dll is a SPYWARE-file of the CYDOOR type.

Download Adaware (build 6.181) and Spybot S&D (V 1.2) and install them. Before you run the SCAN in each program, run the UPDATE-function first.
These programs will get rid of all those nasties.

Please become more aware of what you download!!
